Leaning on the Everlasting arms

This verse is from Deuteronomy 33:27.

So, to say it different:

The God of eternity who has no beginning and no end, who revealed himself in the Person of Jesus Christ (as we read in John chapter 1), is our strong tower and place of refuge and safety. We can resort to Him at any time and in any circumstance, and find that His everlasting arms are always there ready to catch us when things are bad or when we go wrong. Indeed, throughout our everyday lives we should live in the knowledge and assurance that at all times His arms are underneath us. This is a secret for walking with God to those who find it and practice living in the light of such confidence.

He is faithful, He is good, He is true. He is merciful and kind, ready to forgive and always there, even when we do not feel or sense Him being there.

And he will deal with our enemies and foes. We only have to lean back into His everlasting arms and let Him deal with those situations that are beyond us and out of our ability to deal with them.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding or cleverness. (Proverbs 3:5)
